Happy New Year! πΒ πΒ I hope you had an amazing time wheather you went out or stayed in celebrating. I’m not sure where 2017 went, I did so much in that year from passing my driving test, getting a car, turning 21… I can’t believe it’s over!!Β I’ve made a few goals for this year, some new and some old and thought I’d share them with you!Β π
This will always be something I need to work on as unfortunately, my anxiety will never go away completely. Last year, there was a point it got out of hand again and I thought the best thing was to not talk about it and to put it in the back of my mind. I soon realised it was actually doing more damage to me not speaking out and not Β excepting it (again!) So, I’m making sure I really look after myself and talk about how I’m feeling a bit more. π
Reading is definitely something I’ve been wanting to do more of! Last year, I worked out that I only read one book (yes,Β one book!π ) I’ve been so upset by this as I love reading so this year, I’m going to make it a priority!! π
Ever since owning a car, money has been a bit tight and Christmas definitely didn’t helpΒ π¬Β I’ve decided to manage my money a bit better, not just for my future but all the other adventures coming up this year!βοΈπ
I would love to travel more, even if it’s just around England! In the spring/summer my grandparents, my boyfriend and I are going to a Portuguese island called Madeira which I’m super exited about as I haven’t been since I was a kid. I’m looking forward to it as I get to explore more of the island and also get to have alcoholic cocktails this time! ππΉπ΅πΉ
Healthy eating is something I want to be better at this year (I’m not just saying this as it’s the new year!π) I also want to do a bit more exercise. I’m not just doing this for my physical health, I’m also doing it for my mental health too and hoping this will make me feel a bit more positive!
I’m hoping this will happen this year (I’m itching for a new challenge!π) I’ve been wanting to become a Health Care Assistant for the last couple of years (which originally was something I thought I never wanted to do!) There were a few hurdles I had to overcome (and there’s still plenty more) but I’m now ready for a new chapter. I want to be able to learn new things, but also help those in need and make a difference! ππ©π»ββοΈπ₯
These are great goals! Very similar to a few of
mine. Best of luck with accomplishing them! xx

Good luck with your goals this year. My fiancΓ© is autistic, it’s difficult for me to understand the way he experiences the world sometimes, especially with his anxiety and OCD, your blog is awesome and explains it so perfectly. So thank you.
My fiancΓ© has always wanted to help people. He was an ECA in the ambulance service for years, he’s now training to be a Paramedic π
It’s hard work but he loves it and is doing so well.
Follow your dreams π
