Happy New Year! 😊 🎉 I hope you had an amazing time wheather you went out or stayed in celebrating. I’m not sure where 2017 went, I did so much in that year from passing my driving test, getting a car, turning 21… I can’t believe it’s over!! I’ve made a few goals for this year, some new and some old and thought I’d share them with you! 😊
This will always be something I need to work on as unfortunately, my anxiety will never go away completely. Last year, there was a point it got out of hand again and I thought the best thing was to not talk about it and to put it in the back of my mind. I soon realised it was actually doing more damage to me not speaking out and not excepting it (again!) So, I’m making sure I really look after myself and talk about how I’m feeling a bit more. 💜
Reading is definitely something I’ve been wanting to do more of! Last year, I worked out that I only read one book (yes, one book!😅) I’ve been so upset by this as I love reading so this year, I’m going to make it a priority!! 📚
Ever since owning a car, money has been a bit tight and Christmas definitely didn’t help 😬 I’ve decided to manage my money a bit better, not just for my future but all the other adventures coming up this year!✈️🌍
I would love to travel more, even if it’s just around England! In the spring/summer my grandparents, my boyfriend and I are going to a Portuguese island called Madeira which I’m super exited about as I haven’t been since I was a kid. I’m looking forward to it as I get to explore more of the island and also get to have alcoholic cocktails this time! 😄🍹🇵🇹
Healthy eating is something I want to be better at this year (I’m not just saying this as it’s the new year!😂) I also want to do a bit more exercise. I’m not just doing this for my physical health, I’m also doing it for my mental health too and hoping this will make me feel a bit more positive!
I’m hoping this will happen this year (I’m itching for a new challenge!😄) I’ve been wanting to become a Health Care Assistant for the last couple of years (which originally was something I thought I never wanted to do!) There were a few hurdles I had to overcome (and there’s still plenty more) but I’m now ready for a new chapter. I want to be able to learn new things, but also help those in need and make a difference! 🚑👩🏻⚕️🏥
I hope you enjoyed today’s post! I’m going to spend my final day of freedom with my family before heading back to work tomorrow (and eat all the leftover Christmas Food!🙊🎄) I hope you have a wonderful day!
See you soon!
