Oops! Getting new Specs! 🚘🤓

So after 9 months of learning to drive, I am finally going to do my driving test!🚘🎉CRAZY! It only feels like yesterday I did my first ever lesson and now I’m getting close to completing one of my goals. I’d like to pass first time if I can, but if I don’t then that’s ok as I know I can always try again 😊

But about a week ago I got myself into a bit of a pickle ( not literally! 😂)

So with only a few weeks until the big day, I drove to the test center with my driving instructor to practice some manoeuvres and questions. I was feeling pretty confident as I had practiced everything religiously (a bit too much to the point were I feel like I have now become a mechanic! 😂) One of the first things my instructor asked me to do was to read a number plate on a car across the road. It was a simple thing to do, a piece of cake! I felt happy and confident to do it, until I realised that I couldn’t read it 😅.

What makes the whole situation worse is that I was wearing my glasses 😂, and what makes it even more worse is that I only had an eye test two months ago! 😅😂

 I tried reading other number plates but I still struggled to focus on them which set me off into panic mode (which happens regularly to me 😂), so as soon as I got home I made a run for the opticians!

Luckily, I managed to get an appointment and I’m glad I had them tested, my eyes are healthy but I had lost 30% of vision in my left eye! So I ended up getting new specs which are super awesome and sparkly!✨

As you can see, I’m slightly in love with them and I’m even more in love with the fact I can see everything in HD now (and the fact I can now read a number plate without squinting! 😂)
